Real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey have been increased in August 2022

August statistics for real estate sales to foreigners were released by the Turkish Statistical Authority (TUIK). 

The number of apartments sold to foreigners in August 2022 reached 5273 residential properties, achieving an increase of approximately 33% compared to July sales.

The volume of real estate sales in Turkey during the first eight months of 2022 amounted to 44,595 residential properties, an increase of 44.6% compared to real estate sales to foreigners in 2021.

Antalya is the first in the ranking of real estate sales to foreigners

Statistics issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority stated that the city of Antalya is in the first place for the most purchase of real estate by foreigners, with a number of up to 1814 residential properties, Istanbul ranked second with 1750 residential properties, and Mersin ranked third with 317 apartments.
 

Russian nationals ranked first with 1,238 properties, Iranians ranked second with 633 properties, and Iraqis ranked third with 417 properties.
