Since the beginning of 2022, about 3 million real estate sales have taken place in Turkey. 

According to information from officials of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Land Registry of the Ministry of Environment, Urban Development and Climate Change in Turkey through the official Anatolia Agency.

it has been confirmed that more than two million and 997 thousand properties have been sold from Early 2022 to November.

Among these sales, more than 1,254,000 apartments were sold throughout the country, more than 518,000 plots of land, 852,000 agricultural lands, and 135,782 workplaces, while the rest are various real estate.

Istanbul ranked first in sales, followed by Ankara and Izmir.

According to the information, the state treasury has achieved more than 35 billion in title deed fees for these properties.

Foreign real estate sales during November 2022

Real estate sales to foreigners during November 2022 achieved a high number compared to the previous months of the second half of 2022

The number of sales was 6083 real estate sold to foreigners in Turkey. The city of Antalya ranked first in real estate sales to foreigners by selling about 2616 real estate, followed by Istanbul with 733 real estates, and Mersin with 567 real estate sold to foreigners in Turkey.

Russians are the most buying real estate in Turkey

In November, Russian citizens bought about 2,575 properties in Turkey, followed by Iranian citizens with 510 properties, Iraq with 331 properties, and citizens of Ukraine with 277 properties.
